My professional experience & Qualification
For over twenty years, I have been dedicated to supporting others through a variety of creative approaches to psychological therapy. My journey began with a Diploma in Social Work (2003–2005), which sparked my passion for helping people navigate challenges. From there, I earned a BSc in Social Pedagogy (Probation and Mediation) and a BSc in Theatre in Education, where I had the privilege of working with marginalised communities through Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed.
I then pursued an MA in Applied Theatre, followed by an advanced postgraduate diploma in Psychodrama, Group & Individual Psychotherapy. As a UKCP-accredited integrative psychotherapist, I completed an intensive five-year training program at the Maudsley Hospital in London, equipping me to offer both depth and breadth in therapeutic care.
Currently, I am an Apprentice Psychodrama Trainer completing my Trainer status. Additionally, l am in the process of training in Somatic Experiencing at SOS Internationale, a method that focuses on addressing the physiological signs of unprocessed trauma.
Beyond psychotherapy, I have expanded my approach by completing certification in Biosonic Sound Healing with Dr. John Beaulieu, ND, PhD (NYC), allowing me to integrate sound into my clinical practice.
My practice is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep commitment to creating a safe and supportive space for healing. I draw on this broad spectrum of training to tailor my approach to the unique needs of each individual, empowering them to navigate their challenges with confidence and care.
